Global Community Services is a Minnesota 245D provider based in Saint Paul. We work with case managers, crisis teams, counties, families, and other referral partners to identify practical support options for individuals who need additional stability, supervision, or temporary respite.
Global provides individualized respite and short-term support options for children, adolescents, and adults, including individuals with more complex support needs. We are open to reviewing referrals involving:
Global serves both minors and adults. Each referral is reviewed individually.
Global works with counties, case managers, crisis teams, guardians, and other referral partners to explore developing individualized residential settings, including CRS (Community Residential Services) and CFRS / children's residential development as appropriate under Minnesota requirements. We are interested in reviewing referrals involving:
Setting development is not available for every referral and depends on eligibility, licensing requirements, funding, staffing, location, safety needs, and the individual's assessed needs.
If you have a client who may qualify for a Minnesota residential moratorium exception, Global Community Services is open to reviewing the referral and working with the case manager, county, guardian, and support team to explore whether development may be appropriate.

Global does not determine whether someone qualifies for a moratorium exception. Eligibility and approval are determined through the appropriate Minnesota and county processes. Our role is to review the referral and explore whether we may be able to develop or provide an appropriate setting if the person is eligible.
